Rockstar Unveils Stone Hatchet Weapon Available for Both GTA Online and RDR2
Just a few days ago dataminers found an interesting new weapon that is playable in both GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption 2, complete with details on how to obtain it. Despite the lack of confirmation from Rockstar at the time, they have just officially confirmed the weapon is indeed the Stone Hatchet.
While the challenge wasn’t live at the time the files were uncovered, the bounty has now gone live. Much like the treasure hunt which unlocked the double-action revolver for GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption 2, the Stone Hatchet challenge will also unlock the Rampage ability for multiple kills. If you’re wondering what this ability does, it reduces damage to the player and speeds up health regeneration. If you’re wondering how you can earn the Stone Hatchet yourself, Rockstar has explained it all. You can check it out below.
“With no shortage of reprobates across Los Santos and Blaine County, Maude Eccles has put the dream of a white-picket fence, a husband, and a dog named Skip on hold to reignite her burning passion for justice. Keep an eye out for a text message from Maude for bounties. Collect these new bounty targets dead or alive to complete this challenge and unlock the location of the Stone Hatchet in GTA Online. Once you acquire this brutal melee weapon, complete the Kills Challenge for a GTA$250,000 bonus and to unlock it in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4.”
In other Red Dead Redemption 2 news, Take-Two Interactive just opened up about what to expect for release, and let’s just say it will make those anticipation levels increase that much more, if that was even possible, right? Take-Two CEO had this to say, “My belief is that Red Dead Redemption 2 will shatter expectations and that the online experience also will be extraordinary, but unexpected.”
