Fallout 76 Brings the Whole Package to the B.E.T.A.
While fans are divided on how to feel about the upcoming Fallout online survival game they’ve been asking for since forever, the Break it Early Test Application is sure to be coming up soon and Bethesda has decided to unveil some new information that is sure to elicit at least a few sighs of relief for those looking forward to it.
Over on the Fallout 76 FAQ page, Bethesda added a question that seems to answer itself merely by existing, being “Q: IS THE B.E.T.A. GOING TO BE THE FULL GAME AND WILL MY PROGRESS CARRY OVER TO LAUNCH?” The developer promptly answers its own question with “Our current plan for the B.E.T.A. is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch. We hope you join us!”
This is great news as it will make the transition from BETA to full product that much easier for players when the game drops this holiday season, so be sure to free up enough space on your PC/console of choice before it begins (keep in mind the BETA will hit Xbox One first!) and set up your Bethesda.net account.
Pete Hines recently cleared up some confusion surrounding the BETA not too long after Bethesda confirmed that it wouldn’t start until much closer to the game’s full launch. In the meantime, be sure to check out our Fallout Creature Guide to prepare you for the nuke-tained beasts that await you and your friends in the wasteland.
Fallout 76 launches later this year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
