Don’t Forget!
Amnesia Collection, the current-gen port of all three Amnesia games, is going launch on the Xbox One later this week on Friday, according to an official news post.
The collection includes the first Amnesia game, its add-on Justine, and the sequel, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.
We reviewed Amnesia Collection back in 2016 for the PS4 and weren’t too impressed by it, especially when it came to the graphics.
“A lot has changed in six years and the quality of the stuff seen in Amnesia just doesn’t pass anymore,” our reviewer wrote. “This package really would have benefited from some touched up visuals or something because I found the smudgy, vaseline covered walls and floors more distracting than I care to admit. When playing a game that is supposed to be as immersive as Amnesia wants to be, the graphical fidelity needs to be there.”
In the end though, our reviewer concluded that “if you’re just itching to see what the commotion was all about with this series, and you can do so with a sensible understanding of context, the Amnesia Collection might be worth the investment.”
