Valkyria Chronicles 4’s Western Release is Just On the Horizon
With its western release announcement and brief showing at E3 not far behind us, SEGA has delivered unto us a prologue cutscene from Valkyria Chronicles 4 that sees the soldiers of Squad E preparing for their first engagement against the Imperial Army.
The obscenely gorgeous cutscene makes real life look like crap in comparison and sees Squad E Commander Claude Wallace detailing the day in a journal before dropping his pen onto the face of Sergeant Raz, who returns the pen with a tough-love pep-talk. When they catch wind of an Imperial Army unit on their way to Squad E’s position, the rest of the team pops up from beneath the flowers surrounding the tank Claude and Raz have been sitting on.
The game’s Shiba-Inu mascot Ragnarok makes a cameo as well, and is a very good boy, yes he is.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 launched to critical acclaim in Japan earlier this year, and will be making it’s way west this September 25th for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Let us know what you think in the comments below, and stay tuned to COGconnected for all the latest gaming news!
