Netflix’s Castlevania Series Returns This October

This season will be eight episodes long (which is more than the four episodes of the first season) and will be written by the returning Warren Ellis. The story of Season 2 will likely follow the show’s protagonist Trevor Belmont as he continues his quest to stop Dracula’s reign of terror.

Back in June, Trevor’s voice actor, Richard Armitage, confirmed that the show’s third season was already in production. “We’re about to record a third [season],” said Armitage. “The second season hasn’t been aired yet, but we’re about to do a third [season].”

Some more Netflix-related news: the streaming service is currently testing out new subscription plans that would allow users to stream shows in 4K Ultra HD and HDR. The plans will cost $16.99 in the United States and allows four Ultra HD streams a month.
