Will You Play Resident Evil 2 in 4K, or 60fps?
Capcom blessed Resident Evil fans everywhere with an official reveal and release date for their long-discussed Resident Evil 2 remake during Sony’s E3 presentation. Now, Capcom has confirmed that players who own the upgraded mid-gen consoles, PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, will get two different graphical options when they head back to Raccoon City.
Speaking with Gaming Bolt, Capcom Brand Manager Mike Lunn explained that players can choose to play in 4K with a stabilized 30 frames-per-second framerate, or at 60 frames-per-second, though he didn’t mention what resolution it would run at in that mode. He also didn’t state what framerate or resolution the game will run at on regular consoles.
Capcom producers also recently confirmed that the game won’t have an alternate fixed camera, and a developer confirmed the return of the giant alligator and everyone’s favorite Tofu Man. The game drops on January 25th, 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
