Nier: Automata Is Set 2B On Xbox One Later This Month
Everyone’s favorite tear-jerking android adventure Nier: Automata is coming to the Xbox One later this month as Nier: Automata BECOME AS GODS edition.
Leaked via a now defunct page on Square Enix’s website (that still bears the most crucial information in its slug) the publisher confirmed that the re-release will drop for the Xbox One this coming June 26th. It’ll come with the base game that won a slew of Game of the Year nominations and awards last year, along with its expansion DLC and a handful of pod skins to customize your little robo-buddy with including the Cardboard, Retro Grey and Red, and Grimoire Weiss skins. It also comes with a “Machine Lifeform Mask Accessory,” that makes your character look like one of the cute hapless androids from the game. It’s set to retail for $49.99 USD.
This confirms our earlier report of a leak from a French gaming website that the title would be making it’s way to Microsoft’s home console, and is a solid way to keep people interested in the franchise considering Yoko Taro is hard at work on a sequel to the hit title right now. Expect to see an official reveal either today at Microsoft’s conference, or Square Enix’s tomorrow.
