England’s largest pop culture convention celebrates Cosplay!
Last weekend saw London play host to one of the world’s largest Comic Cons, MCM by ReedPop. The 86th Floor (a popular YouTube channel) was there to celebrate incredible British and European cosplay, in their new Cosplay Music Video – Dance Machine.
Taking place over three days, MCM Comic Con regularly attracts over 130,000 attendees, with celebrity guests, advance screenings, and thousands of committed cosplayers. The 86th Floor travel across Europe to shoot with some of the most well-known cosplayers on the continent, regard this as their home convention.
“We’re constantly blown away by the sheer variety of creativity within the cosplay community,” says videographer, Oisin Carr. “From the massive fan communities for ‘Overwatch’ and ‘My Hero Academia’ to cult favourites like ‘Don’t Starve’ and ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’, we’re constantly astounded by how creative the UK and European cosplay community is!”
