We Lie Halfway on the Road to the Game Awards
Announced today, The Game Awards will debut on December 6th, 2018 and will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Geoff Keighley, who is helming the awards show on and off camera, announced the date over on Twitter.
You can tune into the fifth annual Game Awards on December 6th, 2018, at 5:30 pm PT/8: 30 pm. Like nearly every awards show since 2014, viewers can tune in across social media: YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and Twitter. Last year, the show was broadcast globally, witnessing a total of 11.3 million users (triple last year’s count). If there are more platforms from which to tune in, we’ll know before the show.
Every year, The Game Awards comes together to recognize great video games, developers, and achievements of the industry. Top creators and influencers will be in attendance, like every year, to draw attention to 2018’s unique accomplishments. Additionally, as has become a tradition with this awards show, we suspect there will be new game announcements on stage. Tickets go on sale this Friday, on June 8th. Keep it locked as new details emerge, and certainly be sure to keep up with our E3 surprises.
