The Game Might Also Release for the Next Consoles
CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 has managed to impress onstage as well as offstage. Earlier, the developer said the experience would offer a first-person perspective in order to truly immerse players in the world. Through and through, however, they affirm it is an RPG. Behind the scenes, this RPG looks so stunning that people questioned whether it was designed for current consoles.
Quest designer Patrick Mills answered the question in an interview with GameInformer.
“I’ve heard a number of people say that,” Mills said. “The current console generation is what we’re aiming for. We are aiming for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and of course PC as well.”
Despite the gambit to design Cyberpunk 2077 for the current generation of consoles, CDPR isn’t ruling out the next generation. Probably for the best since the game still has no release date. We don’t know how close we will be to the next systems when the game finally arrives.
Previously confirmed, Cyberpunk 2077 will have a variety of features alongside the ability to customize your character. And in sticking to freedom of choice, the IP will include a variety of romance options for players, similar to The Witcher 3. Stay tuned for additional info post-E3.
