Before you jump out of your comfy seat with excitement it should be noted that this has not yet been confirmed by Epic Games, but rather a few different sources and a hot little picture. Following rumors that this may be happening in the future, both Epic Games and Nintendo have been very tight-lipped about it. According to a leaked picture, Fortnite is set to be announced at this years Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3 for short and considering the games it’s lined up with, including Mario Tennis Aces and Dragon Ball FighterZ it points to Nintendo being the one to break the news officially. You can check it out below.

Though this should be taken with a grain of salt, like anything unconfirmed by the publisher or developer, Kotaku has since stepped in stating that someone from Epic Games has confirmed this announcement for E3 2018. “A source familiar with Epic Games’ plans, speaking anonymously to protect their career, also told Kotaku earlier this week that Fortnite would be coming to Switch. Epic Games did not immediately respond to a request for comment.” At this point it’s unclear of this port for Fortnite will include the Save the World game mode in addition to its Battle Royale one.

It will be interesting to see whether Epic Games will respond to this, however with the slew of big reveals ahead of E3, like Rage 2, Fallout 76 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, it’s definitely a very real possibility.
