Storytelling at Its Finest and on the Go
If you’ve ever wanted a fast-paced game that melds music and adventure, look no further than the newly announced Lost in Harmony. Here’s a rhythm experience making its way to the Nintendo Switch and Steam this Summer.
Part of the charm of Lost in Harmony is how it blends a compelling soundtrack into a visual journey. You steer the adventure of Kaito and Aya, “two teenagers who brave many hardships and travel together across a beautiful, hand-drawn dreamworld while dodging obstacles and staying in harmony with the music.” A variety of scenic areas await, traversable to the tunes of famous composers and singers. We’re talking talents like Wyclef Jean, Onoken, Tadayoshi Makino, Fumitake Igarashi, and Godspeed Vivix. Together, the swirling combination of visuals, audio, and narrative make for one of the most curious and artistic adventures you can take on the go (of course, I refer to the Nintendo Swtich version).
Winner of multiple awards, Lost in Harmony for the Nintendo Switch will incorporate Joy-Con and touchscreen functionality. And yes, that includes the HD Rumble feature. Alongside everything mentioned thus far, here is a summary of what the game will include:
- Rhyme and run: Experience music in a new way with the combination of choreographed musical rhythmic tapping and running
- Strong story lore: Discover the emotional and gripping story from the co-creator of Valiant Hearts
- Musical experience: Moving and original soundtrack from well-known composers and singers
- Hand-drawn graphics: Travel through 30+ breathtaking painted environments
- Customization features: Customize your character’s clothes, hat, headphones and skateboard
“Lost in Harmony is a wonderful addition to our Nintendo Switch lineup,” said Guillaume Jamet, Head of Publishing at Playdius. “We are delighted to work together with Yoan Fanise and his entire team at Digixart. They are among the most creative development studios in Montpellier in the South of France and we are happy to have the opportunity to bring their ‘out of box’ rhythm game to a new audience.”
Discover Lost in Harmony when it launches for PC and the Nintendo Switch on June 21st, 2018. Be sure to stay tuned for additional updates and more leading up to launch. Until then and beyond,
Happy gaming.
