This Week Has Players Use the Newly Added Jetpacks
It seems to be that time of the week again, folks. Fortnitetracker just put out its week 5 challenge leak for Fortnite, and this week’s challenges seem to be pretty tame as opposed to last week.
Week 5 of Fortnite Battle Pass’ challenges will ask players to take the newly added jetpack for a spin, and to follow a map found in Greasy Grove for this week’s treasure. These challenges reward players by giving them levels to their Fortnite Battle Pass, which in turn gives them new emotes, dances, and character skins.
As always, these challenges will go live next Tuesday, the 29th, and include:
- Deal damage with SMGs to opponents 0/500.
- Search Chests in Dusty Divot 0/7.
- Use a Jetpack.
- Search Gravity Stones 0/7.
- Follow the treasure map found in Greasy Grove (HARD) 0/1.
- Minigun or Light Machine Gun Eliminations 0/2.
- Eliminate opponents in Lucky Landing (HARD) 0/3.

Whereas last week’s Fortnite challenges had you killing players with traps, or visiting the centre of three different storm cirlces in a single match, this week seems to lay off on the difficulty a tad.
As seems to be tradition with the Fortnite challenges, searching seven chests in a specific area will no doubt be a difficult one, considering that Dusty Divot was already a pretty popular place to drop.
The Jetpack is the newest addition to Fortnite, added with the new Close Encounters Limited Time Mode; where the only guns available are shotguns, and Jetpacks spawn very frequently. This should be a pretty simple challenge to do.
Dealing damage with SMGs, using a Minigun or an LMG to eliminate someone, searching Gravity Stones, and eliminating people in Lucky Landing aren’t difficult to cross off, but the treasure map could prove tricky.
Are there any challenges you wish they’d add? Let us know!
