The Next Forza Horizon Game Has Been Officially Confirmed for an E3 Reveal!
The head of the Xbox divisions in both Spain and Portugal has recently confirmed that the next Forza Horizon game, presumably titled “Forza Horizon 4”, is going to be revealed at this year’s E3.
“There have been many speculations about where the next Forza Horizon will be and that is what we will tell later, at E3 2018,” said Fernanda Delgado, the boss of Xbox Spain and Xbox Portugal.
The last Forza Horizon game, Forza Horizon 3, was critically acclaimed and received rave reviews. COGconnected gave the 2016 open-world racing game a nearly perfect score in our review.
“Forza Horizon 3 truly is the perfect sequel. It takes everything we enjoy about the Forza Horizon franchise and adds just enough to keep it fresh,” our review read. “If you’re a Horizon fan seeking confirmation that Horizon 3 is a worthwhile successor – let me say without hesitation that this is what you’re looking for.”
The review went on to praise Forza Horizon 3 for its “gorgeous” graphics, its vast roster of cars and “huge” open world. However, one of the things the review criticized the game for was not having split-screen multiplayer.
“In many ways, Forza Horizon 3 is the perfect sequel – it adds enough content to stay fresh, while retaining all the hallmarks that made the previous games so awesome,” our review concluded. “Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios have a winning formula with the Horizon franchise, and Horizon 3 continues that tradition. I’m excited to see what’s next over the Horizon.”
So, what new features do you hope will be in the game? Which location do you think will be chosen for this new Forza Horizon game? Do you have any cars that you’d want to see? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below!
