The Art Book for Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Been Leaked by Amazon

Red Dead Redemption 2 Art Book Leaked by Amazon

If a recent Amazon leak is anything to go by it seems that Rockstar Games has partnered with the publishing label Random House to release an art book for their upcoming anticipated title Red Dead Redemption 2. A listing for “The Art of Red Dead Redemption 2” has appeared on Amazon, despite the games release being months away.

The Amazon listing was first spotted by RockstarINTEL, complete with a price of $27.30 discounted from $35.00 for the hard copy book, as well as a bunch of product details. “The Art of Red Dead Redemption 2” is set to coincide with the release of the game this coming October, releasing just a few days later on October 30th. Interestingly, this art book is the first time Rockstar has released one for one of their games. The art book is said to include storyboards, behind-the-scenes looks at the game’s inner workings, original art, character studies, sketches, screenshots and much more that are included in the game and led to its creation.

Though Amazon was quick to remove the name of the book, as well as the description, here’s what the listing had read, courtesy of RockstarINTEL: “The Art of Red Dead Redemption II is the official visual companion to Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated game release, and is a peek behind the curtain of Rockstar Games and its intensely guarded approach to the creation of the lush, Old West open-world gameplay.”

This isn’t the first time something Amazon leaked turned out to be accurate, remember when they did the same thing for the Premium Edition of GTA V and it turned out to be true? RockstarINTEL says they’ve talked to Amazon who have confirmed the product is indeed real. Still, we’ll believe it when we see it. Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to be released on October 26th for PS4, and Xbox One.
