Evidence and Sense Suggest Geralt of Rivia Will Reach the Soulcalibur Series
Unexpected yet unsurprising news has reached us over the internet. As was first revealed at last year’s The Game Awards, Soulcalibur VI is coming this year. Per playful tradition, the latest installment will include a new guest character. A new report indicates that this guest will be Geralt of Rivia.
The report comes straight from LetsPlayVideoGames. Apparently, the outlet was contacted by inside sources who claimed Geralt would be in the next Soulcalibur. After the sources were verified, CD Projekt RED Community Manager Marcin Momot delivered a tweet you’ll find below. It very much looks like the Polish studio and Bandai Namco are collaborating.
What if Geralt was going to step out of the @witchergame for the very first time to make an appearance in one of the upcoming games later this year? pic.twitter.com/dMTn1Im6HD

Aptly pointed out in the report, The Witcher 3 was distributed in Europe with the assistance of Bandai Namco, who also helped distribute the game to New Zealand and Australia. Therefore, it’s safe to say the two companies have an amicable relationship. Plus, in a game about sword fighting, there’s no denying that Geralt of Rivia would fit like a glove, just like there’s also no denying The Witcher 3’s popularity. Thoughts? Expect news and official updates on Soulcalibur VI in the coming months. Lastly, feel free to take this news with a grain of salt. Nothing’s official until it’s official.
