Brand New UbiBlog Discusses the Father From Far Cry 5 in Much Greater Depth Than Ever Before

Far Cry 5 “Cult of Personality” UbiBlog Shares a Bunch of New Details About the Father

We’re just over two weeks away from the highly anticipated launch of one of the biggest games of the year: Far Cry 5. With a recent slew of information to tide us over while we wait for the release date, Ubisoft isn’t quite finished yet. In a new UbiBlog titled “Cult of Personality” they share a much closer look at the Father aka Joseph Seed.

Ubisoft just dropped the video, revealing more insights into what role Joseph Seed will truly play in the game. Not only does “Cult of Personality” give fans a look into the character of the Father as the antagonist of Far Cry 5, but also as a character really built from the bottom up by the game developers. What’s more is that the actor behind the mad man himself, Greg Bryk, shares what the Father means to the game. Here’s what the description about the new spotlight video says, “Is The Father truly a villain? Who is the charismatic man leading the cult in Far Cry 5? Creative Director Dan Hay, Lead Writer Drew Holmes and Actor Greg Bryk sit down to discuss The Father, share stories from capture sessions, and reveal more about the forces arrayed aginst you in Far Cry 5.” You can check out the UbiBlog below.

Just a couple of days ago Ubisoft revealed some post-launch details, including what the season pass for Far Cry 5 will include. In addition to three DLC add-ons, the season pass will include free content through Far Cry Arcade. And if you’re a fan of Far Cry 3, this is also a free addition that comes for free with the purchase of the season pass.

Of course for those who may not necessarily be up for the story of Far Cry 5, the Far Cry Arcade will be the game’s map level designer/editor. It will allow players to create their own missions using assets, textures and objects from other past Ubisoft titles including Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Unity. Of course these will also include Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5 and Far Cry Primal.

Far Cry 5 will release on March 27th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Will you be picking it up? Let us know your thoughts on the Father in the comments below and keep it locked for updates!
