Battlefield V Is Rumored to Get a Huge Focus at EA’s Play Event

Though one of the biggest days of the year for gaming, E3, is just a few months away, Electronic Arts will be holding its annual EA Play event once gain, just a few days before. The event is set to take place between June 9th and June 11th and promises some huge reveals for 2018. So, unsurprisingly rumors are running rampant that the heavily rumored Battlefield V will be one of the main focuses of the event.

In addition to hopes of official confirmation that the newest title will indeed be called Battlefield V, fans are hoping a whole slew of exciting details about the latest Battlefield title will be revealed. As such, some eagle-eyed fans have spotted a new banner image on Reddit that indicates the latest game in the franchise will make an appearance at the EA Play event. The banner does look rather official, complete with the EA Play logo and the game’s logo right beside it. You can check out the banner that is causing all the fuss below.

At this time however, it’s unknown how much we’ll find out about Battlefield V. With that said, the last time a Battlefield game made a splash at EA Play, a huge trailer reveal was dropped alongside some big multiplayer details. Though most of the details about the game have yet to be confirmed, there are quite a few things out in the wild as of right now. These details include: the only microtransactions will be cosmetic, and like Call of Duty: WWII, the game will take place during World War II. Though it would make sense for Battlefield V to make an appearance, EA has not officially confirmed anything. As such, you should take this and all other rumors with a grain of salt.
