Nothing Like an Actual Game of Billiards!
I’m utterly abysmal at Billiards, so a game that simulates any sort of skill in said activity is pretty great in my books. Enter Pool Panic, a rather unrealistic Billiards simulator that pits one ball against the world. As well as a bunch of other balls.
You play a cue ball on a journey across 100 different levels, including jungles, deserts, caravans and cities. You face off against a bunch of other balls, which is about as close to actual Billiards as this game gets, as far as I can tell. Also there’s hat stealing? Holy crap, do you steal hats when you play pool? I’ve been playing that game wrong the whole time!
The trailer is dripping with Adult Swim’s signature style, which is as much of a selling point as the whole pool element. Honestly, I couldn’t be worse at pool if I tried, so a wholly unrealistic version of the classic game is right up my alley. In addition to the single player experience, there will be some local multiplayer stuff to muck about with as well. Absolutely check out the trailer below, I can’t overstate how slick this looks. Pool Panic is set for release on PC and Nintendo Switch soon.
