Sadly the Pokemon Cafe Is Only Opening in Japan as of Now
Though this isn’t Japan’s first Pokemon Cafe, but the ones before this were temporary. This cafe, officially opening for business this month, is open to the public permanently. With reservations opening on March 5th at 6pm JST, the scheduled dates for customers to visit are between March 14th and April 5th. After this, the Pokemon Cafe will have its schedule updated, but you will still need to book a reservation to get inside.
If you would like to visit, you will need to order more than two items off the menu (per person), and you can only reserve seats online. If you’re looking for the full experience, however, you can book a special reservation where you can get exclusive Pokemon themed merchandise, like a Pikachu plushy and a Pokemon Cafe themed mug. Speaking of Pikachu, the little electric fur-ball is all over the menu, as are other iconic Pokemon, such as Eevee, Snorlax, Mimikyu, Jigglypuff, and Lapras.
The food available on the menu is all themed around a certain Pokemon/ element type. The dishes range from fruit smoothies to burgers, all of which has its own adorable twist. They have their own Pikachu Latte for anyone with a sweet tooth.
