Hello Neighbour Will Soon Be Making An Appearance on the PS4
The stealth, mystery, horror game that took many people by storm will be coming over to the PS4 some time this summer, according to a new PlayStation blog post by Alex Nichiporchik, the CEO of tinyBuild, and the publisher of Hello Neighbour.
For those of you who have been living under a digital rock for the past year or two, Hello Neighbour is a game where you sneak into your creepy neighbour’s house to try to uncover the horrible secrets he is hiding in his basement, which isn’t something I would advise anyone to do. The premise is short and sweet, but is the game is anything but simple.
This neighbour of yours isn’t your standard guy who leaves his music on all night, he’s an intelligent AI who learns your tricks and does his best to deter you. Do you like sneaking through the back window? Well he’ll throw down a cheeky bear trap there to stop you. Any open doors will be chained shut, and the neighbour will do what he can to make your task a difficult one; which is where the horror aspect comes into play in this horror sandbox.
Filled with mysteries and Easter eggs, Hello Neighbour’s story is split into three acts. Each one has you delving deeper into the scary rabbit hole that is your neighbour’s house, and uncover what kind of secrets he has locked behind a door and several padlocks.
