Sony Santa Monica Wraps up Development
We’re here to broadcast game director Cory Barlog’s message to the world:Â God of War for the PlayStation 4 has officially gone gold. No what-ifs, ands or buts, the game is now in a fully playable state with virtually chance of delay or rocky launch. Players can look forward to a seamless and brutal, revived franchise this April.
Barlog tweeted the confirmation earlier today. After years of development, the team at Sony Santa Monica has all but triumphed. We’ll know for certain during the final reception. Not to count chickens early or anything, but early previews of God of War look very promising. The studio recently revealed that the entire game is playable in one shot, without loading screens.
God of War is gold, baby.! Thank you to every wonderful human who worked so hard to make this happen. Neither word nor emoji can express the love i have for you all. ???? Next stop, April 20th!!! pic.twitter.com/HBx7EwmJqq
