Could the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Director Be Hinting at Something?
Earlier this month Treyarch and Activision officially confirmed Black Ops 4 by revealing it’s big release date. Though there aren’t many details to go on yet, it was just discovered that Treyarch’s Director and the Game Designer himself, David Vinderhaar, dropped a big tease the same day the latest title was revealed!
Interestingly this tease has gone unnoticed for over a week, which seems just as weird as the tweet itself. The big reveal for Black Ops 4 is set for May 17th, however it seems that David Vonderhaar has done something that speaks to his commitment and dedication to the latest COD title. So what did he do exactly? He changed his name on Twitter to “REDACTED” and changed his avatar and banner to match. And that’s not all. The biggest surprise is that he deleted every single one of his previous tweets since he joined Twitter in 2009 and replaced it with a single one. You can check out the strange tease below:
I used to see everything in absolute terms. Black or White. Zero or One. What happens next will show you what I have learned, that you do not yet know.
Lights out.

But what does it all mean? Unfortunately, and probably much to Vonderhaar’s amusement, no one seems to have a clue though some are speculating that it has something to do with the game’s story. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is set to launch on October 12th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
What do you think this odd tease could mean? Do you think this hint points to which time era the game could be set? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and keep it locked for updates on everything Call of Duty!
