Intense And Atmospheric Without The Scores Of Dialogue
Mysteries are always more intense when paired with isolation. What could be more isolating than space? The Station, a spooky space mystery set aboard the Espial, takes advantage of the atmosphere and inherent fear that comes with such a setting.
The game is being developed by a team of AAA veterans. You’ve got Dave Fracchia, formerly of Radical Entertainment, the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning designer Les Nelkin, and BioShock Infinite and League of Legends composer Duncan Watt. While there won’t be any crew members aboard the Espial, there will be mysteries. Your job will be to explore the station and uncover exactly what happened to the missing crew. You’ll check the logs, solve puzzles and piece together clues until the fate of the crew reveals itself, no matter what that fate may be.
Originally projected for a summer 2017 release, The Station is now set to come out on February 20th, 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. The game takes a hopeful, grounded view of space exploration to orbit around the distant alien world known as Psy-Prime. Check out the announcement trailer for a look at what The Station has to offer next month.
