The Awesome South Park: The Stick of Truth Finally Comes to Xbox One, PS4 in February

Ubisoft Confirms February 13th Release Date

If you had pre-ordered South Park: The Fractured But Whole, you were given a free digital copy of the first game, South Park: The Stick of Truth playable on PS4 or Xbox One. Curiously enough, this was the only way to get your hands on this remastered version for current-gen consoles since it’s nowhere to be found on PSN/Xbox Live Stores — until now, that is.

Ubisoft has announced that starting February 13th, anyone can purchase The Stick of Truth as a standalone game for $30 USD on PS4 and Xbox One.

The Stick of Truth originally released in 2014 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. If you own a digital version on Xbox 360, it is playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

We happened to be very fond of the comedy RPG when it launched. Here’s a snippet from our original review:

“Stick of Truth is not only an excellent complement to the long-running hit TV show it is simply a fun game. It is deep, has plenty of replay value and a game you could easily sink 50 plus hours into. Stick of Truth is not for everyone. If you offend easily or just don’t get South Park humour you are best to stay with your Skyrim game. Yet if you want to have a fun time, laugh your ass off and feel like you are living in an extended episode of South Park, then look no further. Stick of Truth is for you.”
