Shadow of the Colossus Has a Photo Mode and It’s Amazing

Beautiful Screenshots for Days

February shall witness the return of a classic remake in the form of Shadow of the Colossus for the PS4. After my hands-on time with the game at PSX 2017, I can say, without a doubt, Bluepoint is staying true to the original. However, it looks like the Texas-based developer is taking advantage of the new graphics with the addition of an elaborate photo mode.

Shadow of the Colossus

The new photo mode feature for Shadow of the Colossus lets players capture the immaculate beauty of the open-world. But there’s more to pausing and screenshotting memorable moments; if you like, you can play the game with a completely different tone. After you adjust the colors in photo mode, you can unpause and play without reverting back to normal. It is akin to selecting which color of the rainbow you would prefer to play in. A very interesting new feature, but you don’t have to make my word for it; see the latest game footage down below.

The release of Shadow of the Colossus is just around the corner, February 6th. Now that you’ve seen the additional feature of photo mode, what are your thoughts? I, for one, think it was a genius addition to such a beautiful game. Feel free to comment your thoughts down below.
