Time to Take Some Indie Games on the Go
Since this is a new year, several indie creators have come together for some new deals on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The Nindie New Year sale discounts several indie games that arrived on the Switch, which has since become a haven for such games.
Many developers have found a friend in the Nintendo Switch since its launch back in March. Not only has the company nurtured third-party support on the hybrid console, but the inherent design has made certain properties more appealing. Let’s get to that.
The Nine Nindie titles available in the Nintendo eShop are discounted up to 35% off. You’ll find Death Squared, Thumper, and Thimbleweed Park, all at great prices. Take advantage of it while you can; Nintendo has, maybe, 2-3 worthwhile sales over the course of a single year. We have 12 months to go, so you might want to get saving.
- Death Squared:Â $11.24 (25% off)
- GoNNER: $6.99 (30% off)
- Graceful Explosion Machine: $8.99 (30% off)
- Inversus Deluxe:$9.74 (35% off)
- Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime:Â $9.99 (33% off)

You have from now until January 15, 11:59 PM PT to take advantage of the Nindie New Year Sale. Prices above are in USD. Note that the discount percentages also apply to New Zealand, Europe, and Australia. Some of the titles here were previewed in the Nintendo Nindie Showcase several months back. If you own a Nintendo Switch, you have plenty of great indie titles to look forward to this year—on top of great first-party titles, of course. Check back for updates
