Number One Will Surprise Absolutely No One
Nintendo of America came out with a list of the most played Switch games, confirming what you all probably guessed just from reading the title. Yes, Breath of the Wild came in at number one. Yes, this is immediately followed by Super Mario Odyssey. There are some surprises on the list, however. Just take a look and see for yourself:

5. Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition
6. Stardew Valley
7. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

9. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
10. The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+
11. NBA 2K18
12. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch
13. Fire Emblem Warriors
14. Lego City Undercover
15. Sonic Mania

19. Disgaea 5 Complete

I for one am legitimately shocked that Disgaea 5 made the list, although if we’re measuring hours played, that makes a lot more sense. Is it even possible to play a Disgaea game for less than 40 hours? Also, while it’s great to see a Mario Kart game on the list, it’s even more impressive that said game is more or less a re-release. This should give Nintendo hope that even more of their Wii U titles will find new life on the Nintendo Switch.
