You Can Get Your Hands on the Nintendo Labo Early
Yesterday Nintendo revealed the Nintendo Labo, a whole new way to play the Switch! While reactions to the new and innovative creation tool were mixed, there is a way to play before you pay. That’s right, you can get your hands on the Labo before it launches in April.
The purpose of the new tool seems to be on a fun family experience, especially for those who are very creative. And yes, it would seem because of this, it is made out of cardboard. Even for those who are on the fence because of the material used for the Labo, there’s definitely no denying its versatility. Despite the mixed reactions about the Nintendo Labo, both the variety kit and the robot kit are already reaching the top of the sales charts on Amazon!
So, if you’re not quite sure if it’s right for you, there is a way to get your hands on it before launch. Of course, like most things, there are a few restrictions. Nintendo will be hosting a few demo stations for the Labo kits before it launches on April 20th. For those of you who are willing to travel, or for those of you who live in the New York City and San Francisco areas, get excited because these demos will take place in both cities. Sign ups are open now until January 21st at 11:59 PST/ 2:59 EST. You can sign up for the three hour event here. Make sure you bring a child between the ages of 6 and 12 however, as the Labo is being marketed for families and you cannot get into the event without accompanying someone within that age range.
