Hunt Showdown Closed Alpha Date Revealed – Sign Up Today

Play the Horror Sandbox Game Early

Imagine a beautifully-rendered battle royale game set in dark swamps, a sandbox environment where you can team up with a buddy to hunt monsters. Would you play that game? Well, now’s your earliest opportunity. The date for the Hunt Showdown close alpha has been revealed. Play it on January 31st.

Hunt Showdown’s closed alpha will be playable on Steam. During the even, developer Crytek will be collecting community feedback and testing performance on the back-end. Over the course of the alpha, new weapons will be released for players to test.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the IP, Hunt Showdown is a first-person-shooter that offers a mix of PvE and PvP gameplay. Up to 10 players are tossed into a highly detailed and immersive environment to hunt and kill monsters. You can play solo or team up with a buddy. Whichever team kills the monster collects the bounty. However, the next objective is leaving the area in one peace. During each session, players can hunt down monsters and each other. There are no penalties and no mercy. Anyone can reap the bounty of each map.

Alpha testers will be chosen at random. As revealed in a press release, you can still sign up through https://www.huntshowdown.com/. You might be lucky enough to experience the game early.
