Monster Hunter: World Will Feature a Horizon Zero Dawn Event at Launch
The release for Monster Hunter: World is right around the corner and as exciting as that is, it gets better! To celebrate the launch of the highly anticipated title Capcom and Guerilla Games are teaming up for a huge collaboration. The worlds of Horizon Zero Dawn and Monster Hunter will collide, and it all starts tomorrow.
While Monster Hunter: World launches tomorrow, the release is set to come with something even more exciting. Beginning right away at launch, for a limited time only, Monster Hunter: World will feature a Horizon Zero Dawn event. This means that developers are making good on their promise for a lot of post launch updates and content. This Horizon Zero Dawn quest will be available starting tomorrow, ending on February 9th in Japan, and February 8th for everyone else.
For those of you hoping to dive into the quest as soon as you get your hands on the game, you will get a reward for your efforts. If you complete the event before it ends you will receive a new Palico weapon called the ‘Machine Beast Cat Grinder,’ as well as some accompanying gear from the same Machine Beast Cat series. - Main Target: Slay 8 Barnos
While this may be the first time Xbox players will get to experience the world of the PS4 exclusive title, it won’t be the last. According to the developers there is another event slated for a later date. This event will allow players to be decked out with an Aloy skin, complete with her iconic bow. This event is set to be the second part of the wonderful partnership between Guerrilla Games and Capcom. We’ll just have to wait and see when this event will take place.

Monster Hunter: World launches tomorrow, January 26th, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, however the PC version will launch sometime this Fall. Will you be picking this one up?
