The Previous Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta was Plagued by Issues
The Dragon Ball FighterZ beta was held last week, and it offered a fun experience for those who could actually find matches. While it did introduce players to the gameplay and UI, the multiplayer matchmaking proved to be problematic. Many players simply couldn’t participate in matchmaking. Fortunately, Bandai Namco intends to make up for it
Since the Dragon Ball FighterZ beta failed to deliver a smooth experience, the publisher has decided to give it another go. Earlier today, their Twitter account revealed plans for yet another beta to grant players a 2nd chance to playtest the experience.
Thanks to all of you who playtested the Open Beta of DRAGON BALL FighterZ, your participation was invaluable and we’ve decided to do another round of open beta testing (24hr. period). Dates & times to be announced soon, stay tuned! #DBFighterzBETA pic.twitter.com/4ldSsb1Jdt

Because of Dragon Ball FighterZ’s problematic matchmaking, fans were unable to test all 11 playable characters. Those included Nappa, Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Cell, Android 18, Frieza, Beerus, Kid Buu, and Gohan (adult). There’s a silver lining, however; the beta did its job of making the multiplayer bugs known. Hopefully, everything will be fixed when the game launches on January 26. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
