Looks Like We’re Getting Mac Gargan’s Venom for Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite
Over on ResetERA’s forums, users have pointed out that it appears Spider-Man’s symbiote-infused foe, Venom, has had gameplay shots leaked for Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite. This story is interesting on two fronts as it shows a leak, but also reveals a pro video game player may have access to an earlier build of the game before a community tournament next month.
We can see Venom above rocking an alternate costume that looks like Carnage to me. I’m not quite caught up with Spider-Man these days, but I’d also wager that this less beefier Venom is not Eddie Brock, but Mac Gargan’s Venom. I think I remember hearing how they’d rework his moveset; thus, a new Venom would make sense.
Another leaked image shows more of Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite‘s DLC roster where we can see Sigma, Monster Hunter, Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Venom and Black Panther at the bottom. Now the shoddy quality of the images are dubious, but this Tweet from @MechaMacGyver helps illuminate its authenticity as the drapes match the drapes of a pro gamer.

I reached out to FChamp for comment as it’s possible Capcom gives this build to all pro gamers as well. I’ll update this story if there’s any feedback from him about this.
