New Stardew Valley Single-Player Content in Upcoming Multiplayer Update

Coming to PC Version of Stardew Valley First

Eric Barone, the one-man machine behind one of the most beloved indie game in the last few years, Stardew Valley, announced on his Twitter today that his work on the upcoming free multiplayer update to the farm-sim game will also feature some new single-player content too. Keeping it close to his chest, he’ll reveal more information about this update closer to its release date. “I’m working on some new Stardew Valley content, to be released with the upcoming free multiplayer update,” Barone tweeted. “This will affect single-player, too!”

Beyond that, Barone answered a question on whether the Stardew Valley update would be exclusive to PC, “Console too! Though it will probably make it to PC first.” In August, Barone revealed more details on his site about the free multiplayer update that’s due early 2018. Some juicy bits include the ability to marry other players and inviting other players to join as farmhands.

You can now play Stardew Valley on most platforms as it’s out on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
