Switch Getting That Third-Party Loving
Some great news thatโll embolden the Switch fanbase as Bandai Namco has revealed during a financial briefing that it is busy developing three big Switch-exclusives scheduled for a spring to summer 2018 release.
Company president Mitsuaki Taguchi said that the company is adding more resources in developing games for Switch. โWe have put out three games on the Switch so far and all of them are doing well,โ Taguchi said. โItโs a shame, but we didnโt think the Switch [would] be accept[ed] this fast.โ
Itโs unknown what these three titles are at the moment, but itโs another showing that Nintendo is getting solid third-party support here. With Square Enix putting Project Octopath Traveller for Switch, itโs cool to see that Nintendoโs new console will not repeat the Wii Uโs dearth of third-party support.
Weโll keep you posted when Bandai Namco reveals the identity of these three Switch titles.
