Bandai Namco Confirms Three Switch-Exclusives in 2018

Switch Getting That Third-Party Loving

Some great news thatโ€™ll embolden the Switch fanbase as Bandai Namco has revealed during a financial briefing that it is busy developing three big Switch-exclusives scheduled for a spring to summer 2018 release.

Company president Mitsuaki Taguchi said that the company is adding more resources in developing games for Switch. โ€œWe have put out three games on the Switch so far and all of them are doing well,โ€ Taguchi said. โ€œItโ€™s a shame, but we didnโ€™t think the Switch [would] be accept[ed] this fast.โ€

Itโ€™s unknown what these three titles are at the moment, but itโ€™s another showing that Nintendo is getting solid third-party support here. With Square Enix putting Project Octopath Traveller for Switch, itโ€™s cool to see that Nintendoโ€™s new console will not repeat the Wii Uโ€™s dearth of third-party support.

Weโ€™ll keep you posted when Bandai Namco reveals the identity of these three Switch titles.
