No More Aloy Add-Ons After 2017
With all the critical acclaim surrounding the latest IP by Guerrilla Games, it looks like the upcoming DLC for Horizon Zero Dawn will be its first and last. The developer confirmed as much in a Twitter post responding to a fan.
The Frozen Wilds will be the only expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn.

Hence, the recently announced Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is indeed the “complete” version of the game. For $49.99, the copy will grant users access to the base game and The Frozen Wilds. No meager amount of content, considering the number of post-launch updates released by the developer.
Announced during this year’s Sony E3 Press Conference, the DLC will add a new region and gear to the game. Additionally, it will explore the lore of the Banuk, a tribe recurrently mentioned through the single-player adventure. And speaking of the story, you won’t have to beat the main story in order to play the expansion. However, it does provide a little context.
The Frozen Wilds launches on November 7th, while the Complete Edition of Horizon Zero Dawn arrives on December 5th, 2017.
Speculation: Since Guerrilla Games isn’t expanding the game’s content beyond this DLC, they may be already gearing up for the sequel. More speculation: that sequel may arrive after the launch of the PlayStation 5.
