The Evil Within 2 Looks Terrifying in the PC Version’s Hidden First-Person Mode

Play The Evil Within 2 Again with a Whole New Perspective

While some players may have finished Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within 2 which launched earlier this month, they might want to open up the game again if they’re playing on PC even after 100%-ing the survival horror game.

To get to this fresh perspective for the game on PC, right click on the game in your Steam library before heading to properties and then clicking on ‘set launch options’. Next, feel like an l33t hacker and type “+com_allowconsole 1” to give you access to the in-game console. After launching the game, hit the insert key to summon the console mode, and type “pl_FPS 1” into the console to activate the first-person perspective. According to kitguru, you may need to activate the in-game cheat mode first by typing in the command “idStudio” if that command don’t work. Check out footage of the mode below which looks great:

If you still want to pick up The Evil Within 2, it’s been out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC since October 13th. We praised the Shinji Mikami survival horror sequel for having some standout set pieces despite a rather bland open world experience in our review.
