Expect to See New Heroes and Villains Than Previous LEGO Games
You just can’t get away from LEGOs. That is very much the running theme of each of these stories. Nevertheless, TT Games has developed a new approached with the announcement of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. This latest project comes from the cooperation of Warner Bros. and Marvel Entertainment, promising a diverse roster of Marvel heroes and villains in LEGO form.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will maintain the outlandish characteristics of previous games but will expand with the inclusion of four-player multiplayer and time-manipulation gameplay. And this time, you’ll be surrounded by the greater world of Marvel comics.
“With a completely original branching storyline, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 introduces amazing new gameplay features, including the ability for characters to manipulate time and a four-player competitive Super Hero battling mode,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “With a huge array of brand new characters from the Marvel Universe, including old favorites in new guises, this game is sure to thrill both LEGO and Marvel fans, as well as newcomers to the series.”
Also, anyone who was worried about a lack of story can toss those thoughts into the Dark Dimension. This latest title promises an action-packed adventure alongside a roster of characters extending beyond just the Avengers.
Expect to go head-to-head with the time-traveling Kang the Conqueror in an epic battle across Chronopolis. Witness diverse locations in-game, from Ancient Egypt to The Old West to Sakaar and New York City in 2099. Along the way, gamers will be able to take control of a host of iconic characters, from Cowboy Captain America from the past to Spider-Man 2099 from the future along with Thor, Hulk, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Green Goblin, and dozens of other Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains. Basically, play with more characters than we can list.
Hence, starting November 14th, players can hop onto Xbox One, PS4, or PC, and journey with their favorite Marvel heroes and villains. Nintendo Switch users will be able to do the same come 2017 holidays. Remember, this is not an extension of LEGO Worlds or LEGO Dimensions but a standalone title.
And, of course, we shall see the return of that hallmark LEGO humor we’ve come to expect. So stay tuned for more news and updates on the game as they come our way.
Happy gaming.
