Looks Like Black Ops III Is about to Turn into World War Z
A lot of time has passed since Treyarch released additional content for Call of Duty Black Ops III. According to late rumors, however, the game is returning with a DLC packed full of zombies.
We actually heard this rumor, before, when Mexican and Polish retailers listed a “Zombie Chronicles DLC” for Black Ops III. Either we have a bunch of coincidences or this is the real thing. Because of the latest discovery, it’s looking more like the latter.
It was Reddit user DTZcPorter who recently discovered information from Black Ops 3’s update files. In them, we learn the names of the 8 remastered zombie maps. 3 come from World at War, 4 from Black Ops I and 1 from Black Ops II.
Includes 8 classic remastered maps for Call of Duty® Zombies: World at War, Call of Duty®: Black Ops and Call of Duty®: Black Ops II. Complete original saga maps remastered in HD available on Call of Duty®: Black Ops III.

Zombie Chronicles includes:
- 3 maps from Call of Duty®: World at War: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt and Shi No Numa
- 4 maps from Call of Duty®: Black Ops: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la and Moon
- 1 map from Call of Duty®: Black Ops II: Origins
- Takeo and Richtofen Calling Cards
- Dempsey and Nikolai Calling Cards
- Zombies Heroes Animated Calling Cards
- Limited Edition Camouflage Tin Can
Furthermore, if this is true, then we officially have new content releasing for three different Call of Duties in the same year (4 if you count Modern Warfare: Remastered). How about that? And as per Activision’s arrangement with Sony, we would have content for three different Call of Duties releasing first on PlayStation 4.
