Developer of Halo Has Named Its New Studio Head
After 343 Industries studio head Dan Ayoub left the team a few days ago, the developer of the Halo series has announced their replacement for the position! Some of you may be more than happy and familiar with who is taking over for the game series.
While Dan Ayoub worked on the series since Halo: Reach in 2009, he left to work at the Mixed Reality team for Microsoft where he will be working for the “”empowerment of education through technology.” It was just announced that Chris Lee, Microsoft veteran will be taking over! For anyone who maybe hasn’t heard of him, he was the executive producer on the latest Halo, Halo 5: Guardians. He was also the senior lead producer on Halo 4, and he worked on Halo: Reach and Halo 3: ODST.
According to Lee’s public LinkedIn profile page, he first joined Microsoft in 2003 as a software test engineer, and then he joined Microsoft’s game development division one year later, in 2004. Check out the announcement from Frank O’Conner on Twitter below.
follow our new studio head @tefferlee because he's keen to talk about Halo and better at twitter than me. I am still mastering MySpace.

In other Halo news, Microsoft has confirmed that a Halo 3 Anniversary remaster will not be happening, and that while there will not be any Halo 6 news at E3 this year, Microsoft still has “a little something” to show for a different project.
