This Sea of Thieves Video Might Make Your Day
Today is a special day for Rare and many Xbox fans. Not only are we getting new gameplay footage for their upcoming Sea of Thieves, we get to see Xbox Chief Phil Spencer in a charming playthrough.
Sea of Thieves is a game about daring pirate adventures and represents developer Rare’s daring venture into MMO territory. As a first-party exclusive, the game lets Xbox One and Windows players participate with or fight one another on the high seas. This latest video shows Spencer doing both alongside designers.
Early on, Spencer gets a little ahead of himself and gets killed by skeletons. But then we get a little taste naval gun-battling, as well as Executive Producer Joe Neate getting himself sliced to death a fun bout of PvP.
In case you have trouble identifying Spencer among the enthusiastic players, his Gamertag is “P3.” Interestingly, albeit amusingly, he doesn’t seem to be the biggest noob within the group. See all the gunning, looting, and exploring in the video below:
