The Mind behind Metal Gear and Death Stranding Tweets His Daily Work
Video game legend Hideo Kojima is a man whose artistic advice equates to gold. After years overseeing development for the critically-acclaimed Metal Gear franchise, he is currently working on his next IP Death Stranding. While the game remains a mystery, the mind behind it leaves plenty of anticipation. Today, Kojima took to twitter to give us an idea of that mind at work.

I do game creation everyday. Writing, setting, making specs are done at my desk while doing game design, direction on site.— HIDEO_KOJIMA (@HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN) April 7, 2017
No rest for the wickedly hard at work. If he’s not at the studio, Kojima is developing ideas on his own time. Sounds about right.

I make orders where to fix, solve problems with ideas for better results. There’s no doubt or waste.— HIDEO_KOJIMA (@HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN) April 7, 2017
This is certainly no elaborate documentary pic, but we’ll take it. As many might have guessed, Kojima is a serious hands-on developer. Through his direct survey over the day-to-day operations, we obtain insightful, cinematic experiences (as are his forte).
We still don’t have a release window for Death Stranding, but we are liable to witness something at E3 2017. Kojima is currently developing the game with Sony Interactive at his back, utilizing Guerrilla Games’ own Decima engine–and we know how their last project turned out. Check back for updates as we have them, and let us know your thoughts on Kojima’s daily work in the comments down below.
