We are in April and the effects of some of last year’s games are still being felt. Today, we learned the results of the BAFTA 2017 Games Awards and, like many previous outlets before them, they’ve named Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as their Game of the Year.
BAFTA adds to the cadre of accolades already received by Naughty Dog’s titles. Among them are nods for animation, storytelling, and voice-acting by Nolan North as Nathan Drake. Those who hit the show as contenders to Uncharted include Respawn’s Titanfall 2, PlayDead’s Inside, CampSanto’s FireWatch, Blizzard’s Overwatch, and Eric Barone’s Stardew Valley. Despite their places below, this simply means we know which games to add to our bucket list.
