Lots Of Content On The Way For Civilization VI Fans
Firaxis and 2K have announced that there is some interesting content on the way for Civilization VI fans.The game will be getting a full Spring Update and two new civilizations. They have yet to reveal one of the civilizations but one of the newest ones will be the Persian Empire. Check out its trailer below!
The Persian Empire will be lead by Cyrus the Great aka Cyrus II. They will also be getting a unique empire ability known as the Fall of Babylon, and will get the strong ranged Immortal unit. The Fall of Babylon ability gives the Persian Empire units a bonus movement after declaring a surprise war. They also get dinged less for doing so, unlike the other civilizations. It will also receive trade bonuses and more. But you can hear it all in the trailer.
Again, we don’t know what the other empire is at this point. We also do not have a lot of info on the Spring Patch, other then that Firaxis has said it will “balance changes, multiplayer changes, and bug fixes”. Players with the Civilization VI Deluxe Edition will receive the Persia DLC for free when it launches, though a launch date has not been set.
