BioWare Drops Statement
Over the last couple of days we noticed the development team behind Mass Effect Andromeda were getting bullied online due to some awkward animations reported by early users. The online harassment campaign was then directed at a former employee of Electronic Arts, blaming her for the poor animations in the game. BioWare has now issued a statement telling people to just stop the nonsense.
BioWare GM, Aaryn Flynn, posted on Twitter the following message:
“Recently, a former EA employee was misidentified as a lead member of the Mass Effect Andromeda development team. These reports are false. We respect the opinions of our players and community, and welcome feedback on our games. But attacking individuals, regardless of their involvement in the project, is never acceptable.”

In other words, don’t be a douche and start treating people online in a respectful manner. We get it, the game is having some animation issues; however, there are a more appropriate and productive ways to inform the publisher and developer of the issues. This tweet said it best:
Friendly reminder that BioWare devs are real people doing really hard, complex jobs, and so maybe don’t be a shithead to them.
