Mass Effect Andromeda Gameplay Looks Fantastic
Prospective Pathfinders will need all the help they can get in preparation for their perilous journey to the Andromeda galaxy when Mass Effect: Andromeda launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Origin for PC on March 21. Today a new launch trailer was released where players caught a glimpse of the new characters, races, worlds and threats Pathfinders Scott and Sarah Ryder will face as they journey to the Andromeda galaxy in search of Golden Worlds and a new home for humanity. Also today, BioWare showcased over fifty minutes of Mass Effect gameplay and needless to say, it looks awesome.
The gameplay, narrated by Creative Director Mac Walters and played live by Producer Michael Gamble, showcases Scott Ryder and his squad mates landing on the radioactive desert planet Eos. We get to see exploration, the Nomad vehicle in action, crafting, combat, conversations, environmental hazards, character settings and skills, and just a bit of story. We also get a good look at Science Officer Suvi. While the developers steered clear of major spoilers, there are some mild ones in the gameplay which is unavoidable with 50-minutes of raw gameplay.
