The Super Mario Bros 30th Anniversary Encyclopedia Will Be Making Its Way to the West This Spring
Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros 30th Anniversary Encyclopedia has remained a Japanese exclusive since its release in October of 2015, but that won’t be true for long. Dark Horse has made plans to release the book this spring. While they haven’t announced a specific release date for it, the book’s Amazon page tells us that the enormous 256-page Super Mario title will be in stock starting on June 15th.
Inside the Super Mario Bros Encyclopedia, you’ll find everything having to do with Mario’s history, since the very beginning in 1985 all the way up until 2015, with detailed coverage of characters, items, stages, art from every Super Mario game in the franchise. The pages are lined with photos and comments from many industry professionals including Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka, and Koji Kondo.
