Live your Jet Ski Fantasy Through Riptide GP: Renegade on Xbox One and PC, without Breaking the Bank
From independent developer Vector Unit comes the tide-smashing racer Riptide GP: Renegade. Particularly, the game is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10. That entails the Xbox Play Anywhere programs, where owners can elect to play on PC or console with one copy. Furthermore, this announcement means cross-platform play whether you own one or both.
Previously released for PS4, devs have been hard at work making sure their unique racing title would be available for WIndows 10 and Xbox One at the same time. This way, at launch, players gain access to the most amount of competition from the start. “We really wanted to wait until we could take advantage of the Xbox Play Anywhere program and have the game be available across Microsoft platforms all at once,” says Matt Small, Creative Director and Co-founder of Vector Unit. “It’s been a labor of love getting Riptide GP: Renegade out on all these different platforms and we’re excited to see the Xbox One and Windows 10 communities join the party.”
Riptide GP: Renegade provides watercraft racing like no other game, creatively inputting extreme courses in futuristic environments. Jump, twist, and launch into crazy mid-air stunts, outrunning cops, and boosting to the lead against radical opponents. Game modes include the challenging single player Career mode, 8 player online races, ghost racing leaderboard challenges, and 2-6 player split screen local multiplayer. All you need is extra controllers if you want to have the most fun with your friends.
If you’re in the market for some sea legs, Riptide may be your crash course. Just $9.99 gets you access to PC and Xbox One gameplay. Feel free to let us know your thoughts on its release before you go, however. Are you excited for some cross-platform racing?
