The Meditative Puzzle Game Semispheres Will Be Coming to PlayStation 4 and PC on February 14th
The indie devs over at Vivid Helix announced that their meditative puzzle game Semispheres will be coming to PlayStation 4 via the online store and PC via Steam on February 14th. The beautiful yet complex 2D puzzle game is paired wonderfully with the synth-lead sounds of Sid Barnhoorn, the composer of both Antichamber and The Stanley Parable.
The main theme to the puzzles you’ll find in the Semispheres is dual realities. As you can probably tell from the biochromatic and minimalist art style comprised of both warm blues and oranges, the game urges players on a path to reunite two parallel worlds.
Placed in the middle of a calm yet challenging atmosphere, players must use analog sticks or their keyboard controller to control a different avatar in environments that initially appear identical, but they actually contain profound differences that are crucial to progression. Through the use of portals, enter the other’s reality and create surprisingly intricate inter-dimensional puzzles while staying out of sight of the sentries that guard these worlds.
