The Rock Says, ‘Terry Crews Will Be a Badass Doomfist!’
It’s hard not to love Terry Crews. He’s loud, boisterous and funny as hell. He also hasn’t been shy about his desire to voice the rumored Overwatch character, Doomfist. The name alone screams ‘I am the ultimate badass’ so having someone equally as badass voice the role is a no-brainer. While Crews has been busy pushing Blizzard to cast him in the role he’s also received a ringing endorsement from one of the world’s other well-known badasses, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
A couple of tweets, one from Terry and one from Dwayne, show that The Rock fully supports Terry’s campaign;
Who wants to hear me do the voice of Doomfist for real?? https://t.co/l4aszRrDYE

With Crews visiting Blizzard recently we have to assume that the role has been filled and more than anything else this is just smart marketing on their behalf. Of course, marketing a game as popular as Overwatch may not be needed but any exposure is good exposure. Blizzard has promised a ton of content for Overwatch as the new character Sombra was introduced in mind-November, and the new map ‘Oasis’ debuted just this week with plenty more unannounced material on the way.
What are your thoughts, readers? Is Terry Crews the ultimate choice to play Doomfist? We think so, and we’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below or over on Twitter.
